yo, so we did this film screening a few weeks ago with the Bunker team. Pretty interesting, we showed the Stacy Peralta documentary “CRIPS AND BLOODS: MADE IN AMERICA”. Pretty interesting, a bit on the heavy end… not the best documentary we’ve seen… but growing up in LA, it brought back a lot of memories.. anyways… long story short… Gangsters are dangerous people that can make their 501’s stand on its on with starch and an iron..

Esperanza Spalding has been impressing jazz lovers since an early age. Her name, “esperanza” or “hope” has inspired her to be described as the “hope for the future of jazz and instrumentals (The Canadian Gazette)”. Audiences are continually drawn to this musical prodigy’s show-stopping, magnetic charisma on stage.

An alumna of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA., at 23 Esperanza became the youngest professor in the school’s history. She is one of the few artists who have been asked to perform for President Obama since he stepped into office. As a frequenter to facebook and all of my friends and friends’ friends’ photos, I noticed that everyone has at least one jumping on a hotel bed photo.  Like this one, from a friends’ friend who just went to Sonar Festival in Barcelona.

Then I went to The Fader blog and saw this dude bro.

So I did further research.. Only to find that this is a common and loved pastime of a many a people.

Children, adults, teens, and goths.

Well I tried it myself. And it’s SOO much harder than it looks. These people must have endless time and digital cameras because I could not get the timing right at all… This is my pitiful attempt at being a cool bed jumper.  Eat this goth kids.
